"When I was young I would be the kid in the neighborhood known for picking all the flowers out of everyone's front yards... Well I am still known til this very day for that... I am the flower lady who goes around the neighborhood asking all the neighbors if I can forage this foliage from their yard, or pick this flower from their garden to use it in my designs. There is just something about having that freshly picked stuff in there, maybe it's the smell, maybe it's the nostalgia, but it's something. Every season I get so excited because I know, oooo in a week, there are gonna be a million daffodils blooming, or in a month it's Dahlia season; just having those flowers to look forward to makes designing so much more meaningful. I feel my eagerness might set me apart, my undying passion to work with the local grown flowers!"
