Hilltop Flower Design - Oxford, PA

I am a farmer-florist on a micro flower farm, growing intensively and sustainable on 1/4 acre section of my 3 acre property. My style is whimsical, romantic, and wild. I believe the world needs beauty and that we should all do our part to leave it in a better place. I never use floral foam, rarely work with single use plastics, and either compost flowers after an event or dry them for future use. I worked professionally as a horticulturist at Longwood Gardens and bring my knowledge of growing great and healthy flowers, and a design eye - gleaned from working as an artist in a previous life - to every floral arrangement I make! I take a bottom up approach to so many aspects of my business; Healthy flowers start with healthy soil; Healthy businesses, start with incremental successes; Healthy relationships, start with respect.

Locaflora Design - Gettysburg, PA

Locaflora is your friendly neighborhood flower shop: We come to the rescue with 100% locally sourced flowers for all occasions. Our mission is to revive the love of local flowers in our region. By partnering with local growers, we're able to bring you the beauty and the bounty of each season. "

Rose Drops & Wishes - Havertown, PA

"When I was young I would be the kid in the neighborhood known for picking all the flowers out of everyone's front yards... Well I am still known til this very day for that... I am the flower lady who goes around the neighborhood asking all the neighbors if I can forage this foliage from their yard, or pick this flower from their garden to use it in my designs. There is just something about having that freshly picked stuff in there, maybe it's the smell, maybe it's the nostalgia, but it's something. Every season I get so excited because I know, oooo in a week, there are gonna be a million daffodils blooming, or in a month it's Dahlia season; just having those flowers to look forward to makes designing so much more meaningful. I feel my eagerness might set me apart, my undying passion to work with the local grown flowers!"

The Peddler - Munhall, PA

Here at The Peddler, we believe that beauty matters and everyone is deserving of it. Despite the reality of suffering in the world, we are rooted in the hope that a new creation is possible. We seek to be a floral business that fosters hope by creating beauty with our floral design, being caretakers to the abundance of beauty in the natural world, and cultivating beauty through meaningful human connection.   Because we know that flowers have the ability to offer a healing balm to individuals, we also believe that our business should be healing to the ground in which those flowers were grown. Through the months of June through October, we commit to using only flowers that have been cultivated from the farms and backyards of individuals living within a 100 mile radius of our sweet city. We also practice sustainability in our commitment not to use floral foam in any of our design work, instead relying on innovative solutions, such as agro-wool.

We are adding new Bloomlistings weekly.
