Amelia Peacock Flowers - Napa, CA

Amelia Peacock Flowers celebrates the fleetingness of seasonality in our bouquets and vase arrangements. We are smitten with the notion of no two designs alike because we are inspired by whatever's growing in the garden, and finding ways to capture and celebrate that moment in time. We bring the wild, whimsical, and unexpected to our designs—with an eclectic collection of vessels—for a range of style, occasion, and celebration. We are committed to 100% local and US sourcing because we believe flowers picked just from the ground, spending less time in transport, yield the longest vase life. We vet our farmers for clean and chemical free growing practices, and even dabble in some micro-growing on our modest lot in northern Napa Valley. We never use floral foam. Amelia Peacock is homage to my mother in law, Amie (nee Amelia), who was a force of nature, and greatly missed. The Peacock is a shout out to flamboyant hubs, who rocks a big beard, enjoys a big red, and appreciates the finer things in life. We are currently accepting a small number of orders through Instagram @ameliapeacockflowers while our site is in development. Please message us for more information, or email us at ameliapeacockflowers@gmail.com. **Amelia Peacock is owned/operated by Lori Diamond who is also the founder of this site, The Flowry. I am so inspired by this outlier community of eco-friendly floral artists, I took myself to class, and am learning this glorious practice. I encourage you to explore our sustainable floral design hub and find your local. There’s something about locally grown flowers in season that’s hard to quit—once you know, you know. Thanks for being here and supporting a more sustainable floristry movement.**

Bewilder Floral - Palo Alto, CA

Bewilder Floral is a Bay Area floral studio founded by Larisa Minerva, an artist turned florist. With over 10 years in the industry, she’s grown to love timeless, unstructured designs, that herald nature above all else. Bewilder Floral aims to evoke our deep and inherent connection to our world through the simple joy of garden-grown flowers. We are continually awed by what comes up from the soil and we want to share that awe with you. As intermediaries with nature, it is our goal to craft one-of-a-kind designs that celebrate the seasonality, setting, and who we are in each moment, imperfections and all.

Eden Floral - Grover Beach, CA

We are a sustainable floral company. We have a close relationship with our local small farmers and always have the most fun learning about and sourcing unique blooms. We gravitate towards the old world, heirloom flowers, and outdoor grown roses (oh that smell!) and local natives. We forage responsibly to communicate a “found and gathered” and just in from the garden” feel. Each arrangement is different in design, shape and types of blooms, even within the same event. Our goal is to inspire conversation and wonder.

Juniper Lane - Sonoma, CA

Juniper Lane is a boutique floral design studio specializing in intimate events and weddings with a focus on creating artistic, ethereal styles using locally grown, seasonal blooms whenever possible. Based in Sonoma, California, in the heart of wine country, Juniper Lane’s mission is to create beauty with intentional design and elevate life's special celebrations while being mindful of environmental impact. Owner Jen Donohue believes what makes her floral designs stand out from others is the result of paying closer attention to nature and bringing thoughtfulness into each stage of the design process. “When we make extra efforts to source local flowers cultivated with sustainable methods, when we take the time to notice the small details while selecting the ingredients and choosing color palettes, when we respect the time and energy that was put into the growing process by treating the blooms with great care, when we take into consideration the shape and direction that the stem took when growing on the plant, all of that love shines through and makes the final product special.” Juniper Lane sources local flowers as much as possible, working with a number of growers within Sonoma county and throughout the Bay Area to source unique varieties not often available at the wholesale market. Juniper Lane also incorporates eco-friendly practices into design work by avoiding the use of floral foam and instead seeks out reusable and recyclable materials to build beautiful arrangements and installations.

Redwood Wild Florals - Oakland, CA

Seasonal, Homegrown, & Handpicked Garden-Style Florals. Our garden-to-table florals reflect what I see in the garden as I potter around and ponder what to sow, grow, pick and prune. With special attention paid to environmentally sound practices, my inspiration lies in what’s found locally, what can be re-used, or what can be regenerated. You won’t find any floral foam in our work and I love reusing our vessels and mason jars, or sourcing vintage ones. My goal is to capture the magic of seasonal beauties, artfully tied together with color, texture, composition, and place.
